The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever digs a well, no thirsty soul from among the jinn, mankind, or birds will drink from it but Allah will reward him on the Day of Resurrection."

The lack of safe water is the primary driver of Yemen’s recurring health catastrophes. Contaminated water sources have fueled one of the world’s largest cholera outbreaks, alongside a rise in kidney diseases and acute watery diarrhea. When families cannot find clean water, they are forced to use "grey water" from irrigation or livestock pits. Furthermore, the time spent by children fetching water is time stolen from their education, trapping the next generation in a cycle of poverty and ill-health.

Hope Group believes that water is a fundamental human right, not a luxury. We implement sustainable, community-led solutions that move beyond temporary fixes to create long-term stability.
Infrastructure Rehabilitation: Our teams repair broken pipelines and construct elevated water tanks to bring distribution points closer to homes and IDP camps.
Emergency Response & Hygiene: In areas of acute crisis, we provide emergency water trucking and distribute hygiene kits and water purification tablets to stop the spread of disease at its source.
