No human being should have to worry about where their next meal will come from, yet thousands of families still suffer from chronic malnutrition.

Challenge
Challenge
In Yemen, the simple act of putting a meal on the table has become an insurmountable struggle for millions. Years of protracted conflict have decimated the national economy, leading to skyrocketing inflation and a currency in freefall. Even when food is available in local markets, the prices are far beyond the reach of the average family. Families are often forced to make "impossible choices", choosing between buying life-saving medicine for a sick child or a single bag of flour to keep the rest of the siblings from starving.

Problem
Yemen is currently facing one of the highest rates of food insecurity in the world. The "Silent Hunger" is spreading through every province, leaving children stunted and nursing mothers malnourished. Without intervention, entire communities are sliding toward famine. Currently, millions of Yemenis do not know where their next meal is coming from, and for internally displaced persons (IDPs), the situation is even more dire as they lack the land or resources to produce their own sustenance.

At Hope Group, our Food Basket Program is designed to be a direct lifeline. We provide comprehensive, standardized food parcels that provide a family of six with enough essential nutrients for an entire month.
What we provide: Each basket is carefully curated to include staples such as fortified flour, rice, sugar, cooking oil, and protein-rich legumes.
Our Impact: By delivering these baskets directly to the most vulnerable households—including widows, the elderly, and the displaced—we do more than just fill stomachs. We restore dignity, provide psychological relief to parents, and ensure that no child in our reach has to go to sleep hungry.
